I'll start with the "keywords" question.
I asked once before: "How many doorway pages does the "Template add-on" create? I got what I asked for. Kinda. I was told it depends how many "keywords" that I have. Ok, I'll buy that. Let's say I have 100 keywords in my [title1] section. Is the template going to create 100 doorway pages because I have that many in [title1]? Or, will I have to insert [title1] 100 times in the template? Or, would it do me any good just to do this? [title1|title1|title1|title1|title1|do that over and over until I do it 100 times]? Right now, I have SEC uninstalled. I'm going to get a different server strictly for SEC. But, a few questions out of the way to make installing a little more efficient. In the "Basic tab" is were we can tell SEC to redirect the human traffic to, right? Right! Ok, question or hypothetical situation, whatever you want to call it. Let's say I have a blog. I write up a nice little ad. I insert my "Top" cloaked url that's in my "keywords tab". I'm all done. PING!!! I wait, wait, eventually spiders come to the blog and index my blog and cloaked url. Let's say I got lucky enough and the spider decides to check out my cloaked url right away. He crawls my "Pretty Template". Here's my question. Is there a way to redirect the spider to the 2nd cloaked url in the "keywords tab". Then to the 3rd, then to the 4th & so on. If so, in the "Template" or in the "keywords tab"? Maybe in the "Template"? What if I put my cloaked urls in the "Extractor add-on"? As long as my page(template) is complete and is themed to what I'm promoting. I have another question. I'm going to wait though. Depends on the answers for these. My arms are tired of typing. |

Keep in mind that I'm answering this but may not be completely accurate because I haven't done a basic install of SEC in a while. I now use EWI which pretty much automates the whole process.
First and foremost the templates add on does not generate doorway pages. The program SEC does that. You can generate pages with SEC without having the template add-on. The template add-on offers a powerful way to control and optimize your cloaked pages. Templates gives you complete freedom to create pages however you like. The number of pages that are generated by SEC is controlled under your keywords tab. Towards the bottom you tell it how many pages to generate. So let's say that I am target web hosting and have some keywords: cheap affordable web hosting website hosting web hosting in louisiana web hosting in new orleans Now like I've said, I'm no longer that familiar with it but SEC should generate however many pages you told it to generate using urls such as: http://www.mydomain.com/cheap/web-hosting.html http://www.mydomain.com/html.affordabel?web-hosting-in-louisiana=true etc, etc. The types of urls that are generated depends on your settings and whether you are utilizing htaccess or not. The more urls that you want to have generated then I would suggest more keywords and keyword combinations. Now back to the templates. Templates add-on allows you to insert sentences and paragraphs into SEC so that your generated pages seem more natural and flow more freely gramatically. I'm not going to go into to much detail here again because I am no longer that familiar with it. But let's say you enter 25 different paragraphs, when SEC generates your pages it should move those paragraphs around each time a page is generated. Again this id dependant upon how you have your template set up. Now you can also break it down even more with your [brackets] as to where you insert your keyword combinations and other word list from SEC. I hope this gives you a little direction on where to go with this. Anyone more experienced, please chime in. Yes, the basic tab is where you instruct SEC to send real users. Scroll down to where it says "URL(s) to send users to". Enter the url or url's in the box. If you enter multiple urls SEC will rotate the sites randomly as to where real users are sent.
If you have SEC set up correctly ith the templates add on you should be able to instruct it as to the percentage of hyperlinks you want generated to other cloaked pages. Click on the templates add-on tab and scroll down to where it says hyperlink frequency. Enter the percentage here. Each page will then include hyperlinks of that percentage to other cloaked pages. You can also use the sitemap feature under the basic tab. |

In the "keywords tab", down towards the bottom, it asks how many "urls" do you want to create? Not pages. I remember something about it saying that there is a 450 link/url limit. I remember reading something about doorway pages in the salespage.
For some reason it's just not getting through my thick "George Lopez" type head. Maybe I'll go read the sales page. Maybe I read it wrong. Misunderstood it. Something. |

The urls that it generates actually are the pages that it generates. If you tell it to generate 25 urls then that is 25 pages that it generated. IF you tell it to generate 250 urls then that is 250 pages that it generates.
450 limit seems low. I want to say that it is in the 1500 - 2000 range as the max. I'm not positive but I'm pretty damn sure 450 is low because I'm running sites with more than that |
